Background & Utility
For use within vehicles equipped with existing CMT payment or Mobile Knowledge dispatch systems. Functionality is limited to navigating driver to pick-up/drop-off addresses of current dispatched trip.
Arro Driver App
The Arro Driver App is available for download from both the Apple iTunes & Google Play stores
Once enabled, Drivers on logging into their Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) will receive the following invitation:
“ACCESS GRANTED GET TO ARRO PICKUPS FASTER – DOWNLOAD THE ARRO DRIVER APP ON YOUR PHONE. REGISTRATION CODE: 370169”
End of Shift
At the end of a Driver’s shift, he/she will sign off of their MDT, at which point they will no longer receive any navigation routes until they log back into that same or another MDT. There is no need to sign off of the Arro Driver app though the driver may do so if they so choose.
Any new driver that logs into the MDT will be provided with a new Registration Code with which they can pair their own Arro Driver app.
Can I accept trips from the Arro Driver App in Companion mode?
No. Dispatched trips will be offered and accepted via the MDT, same as usual. The Arro Driver app will simply allow you to navigate to your pick-up address and destination address (if provided with the fare detail).
Can I move from one vehicle to another without re-pairing the Arro Driver app?
Yes. After your initial registration on the first MDT, the Arro Driver app will automatically associate you with the next MDT/ Vehicle to which you sign in.
I see references to Pay Cards in the app. Do I need a CMT Driver Pay Card?
No. Arro Driver Companion mode does not require a Driver Pay card to serve as a navigation aid for Mobile Knowledge dispatch system trips.
I see a call passenger button on the Arro driver app. Can I use this for non-Arro trips?
No. At this time the Call passenger function works with Arro e-Hail trips in select markets, but not for Mobile Knowledge Dispatch System trips.
